Dance Classes for Kids Under 3
Hi, you’ve found one of our older articles – check out our updated article on dance classes for toddlers in Singapore to get the latest info!
It doesn’t get much cuter than a toddler in a tutu and ballet slippers. While there are dozens of dance classes for older kids in Singapore, we’ve found dance schools all over the island for kids under the age of 3! Whether you’re a parent looking for a drop-off option, or want to take a class WITH your kiddo, we have a list of dance schools that let your tot explore their artistic side.
Tanglin Arts Studio
Located in Horse City, Tanglin Arts Studio offers ballet classes for little ones from age 2 and a half years for 30 minutes. The catch is that Mum must pirouette on in to class too – don’t worry, you don’t have to wear a leotard. Just see it as bonding time. Fron 3 years old, they can work on that confidence in a Twinkle Toes class that will have them pointing and running on tip toes.
Tanglin Arts Studio, 100 Turf Club Road #01-02, Horse City Block M, Singapore 287992, p. 6479 0304, Classes available Mon – Sat.
Kent Ridge Education Hub
What!? There’s an hour-long dance class where I can drop my toddler off? Hardly seems possible does it, but inside Rochester Mall near the Buona Vista, is Kent Ridge Education Hub. They offer a one-hour ballet class for kids age 2.5 and older, and parents are actually asked to sit outside the classroom. This is a great option for the more independent and potty-trained tots!

This is a dance class that comes to you! Teacher Jane Moran offers Music & Movement classes for children aged 6 months to 2 years, as well as Me & Mummy dance classes for tots up to 2.5 years old. She teaches classes in condo function rooms all over Singapore, and you can check out her current schedule on the Dancing Kids Facebook page.
