This March school holidays head down to Frasers Centrepoint Malls and join The Ultimate Escape Room Challenge – a mini adventure course designed to put wits, problem solving skills and teamwork to the test.
Modelled after the popular escape game room concept, this challenge will be held at Causeway Point, Northpoint and YewTee Point. Taking the form of a unique maze setting, players race against time to solve a series of puzzles hidden within each maze as they navigate and attempt to escape.
Exciting, engaging and immersive, be expected to take 10 to 15 minutes for each game. Besides offering a splendid time, these games also promote team work and bonding. I
The themed for this challenge will be ‘Past, Present and Future’, giving youa chance to ‘travel back in time’. Players at YewTee Point will find themselves tasked with ‘retrieving a stolen diamond’ from a baron’s home set in the 19th century. In another game scenario, players at Northpoint will take on the mission of ‘defusing a bomb located at a subway station’ in present day, whilst those at Causeway Point will face ‘an impending alien attack’ in the year 2084.
To participate, teams of three must register in person on 14 and 15 March 2015 at the mall of their choice with a minimum spend of $20 between 13 to 15 March 2015 in no more than three same-mall receipts. Participants must be 13 years old and above to take part in this competitive challenge. Qualifying rounds will be held at Northpoint and YewTee Point from 14 to 15 March 2015, 12pm to 6pm where the eight fastest teams at each mall will be selected to battle it out in a final showdown hosted by 98.7FM at Causeway Point on 22 March 2015, 12pm to 6pm.Three teams will be crowned champions, with some $17,000 worth of prizes including Frasers Centrepoint Malls Gift Cards and OSIM products up for grabs.
